Flashbulbs were going wild this morning as the 1R filmmakers arrived at the Film Festival! Baker School students from kindergarten to grade three enjoyed reading together on the playing field this afternoon. Each child was given his or her own new book to enjoy and take home, and also read books from the classroom. This was a great start to our summer reading fun!

We had an amazing visit to Olmstead Park, where we observed insects in their natural habitat. We found a wide range of insects at various stages of their life cycles. 1R students did an incredible job searching for and observing these fascinating animals.
First graders have been practicing for the Bugz! Show. We are excited for you to see us sing, dance, and act!
