Two 1R students were able to share what they are thankful for at the school-wide Thanksgiving Assembly this morning!
We wrote booklets about the things we are thankful for in literacy. The students then picked their favorite page and read it to the class.
We love having such amazing Secret Readers every week!
We learned that nouns are people, places, things or animals. We all chose our own noun, wrote & drew it, and then blogged about it on our student blogs!
We wrote comments on each other's blogs for the first time! We looked at our classmates' posts and wrote comments to show our support for each other. Part of being a good digital citizen is being able to write positive, supportive comments online. The class is learning this skill well.
