1R students investigated the claim that sound is caused by vibrations. We have been learning about making a claim and providing evidence to support it in science. Here, 1R students made the claim that our mystery seeds are grass plants. The students' evidence included the size, shape, and color of the plants along with observations such as, 'The plants grew'; 'There are lots of thin plants growing together' and 'They look like grass I have seen before'.
