China and the Terra-Cotta Warriors

We launched our China Unit this past week.  After learning about its geography, we began discovering some aspects of China's rich history.  The boys and girls learned about the infamous terra-cotta warriors and the incredible discovery of these works of art by some unsuspecting farmers over forty years ago.  We then created our own using beautiful metallic paper.  This impressive army is currently on display in our classroom.
