The bald eagle

Picture
Students learned about another national symbol this week, the bald eagle. We discovered that eagles are strong and powerful birds with very large wings! We think the bald eagle makes a great national symbol because it stands for freedom and strength. 1R did a writing piece and an art project using paper collage. We traced our hands to make the wings!
