Ribbon dancing

This week students have continued to explore China. The boys and girls had a great time with a special guest who taught us all about the Chinese tradition, ribbon dancing. We learned about the origin of ribbon dancing and looked at the clothing that is traditionally worn. Not only did we watch a wonderful performance, but each of the students were able to try ribbon dancing on their own! It was fun to use our movements to make the ribbon dance. We had a great time!
